This policy explains what information anickawinfield.com collects, why, and the choices you have. This site is run by Anicka Winfield, Empowerment Mindset Coaching.
What this site collects
Visits to the site. I use Google Analytics to understand how people find and use this site, for example which pages are read and roughly where visitors come from. Google Analytics uses cookies and collects information like the pages you view, your browser and device type, and your approximate location. It does not give me your name or email address.
Advertising activity. I use the Meta Pixel, a tool from Meta (Facebook and Instagram). It uses cookies to record actions on this site, such as viewing a page, reading a blog post, clicking to book a call, or signing up for my email list. This helps me show my ads to people who may be interested and measure whether those ads work. Meta may connect this activity to your Facebook or Instagram account under Meta's own privacy policy.
Email signups. When you sign up for my email list, you are taken to Substack, which collects your email address and sends my newsletter. Substack handles your information under its own privacy policy, and you can unsubscribe from any email.
Booking a call. When you book a clarity call, you schedule it through Google Calendar. The details you enter there, like your name and email address, are handled by Google and shared with me so I can hold the call.
Messages you send me. If you email me, I keep that conversation so I can reply and support you.
How I use your information
To run and improve this site, to understand which content is helpful, to show and measure my ads, to send the newsletter you signed up for, and to schedule and hold calls you book.
I do not sell your personal information.
Your choices
- Cookies: you can block or delete cookies in your browser settings.
- Google Analytics: you can opt out with Google's browser add-on at tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout.
- Facebook and Instagram ads: you can change how Meta uses your activity for ads in your Facebook or Instagram ad preferences.
- Email: every newsletter has an unsubscribe link.
- Your information: you can ask me what information I have about you, or ask me to delete it, by emailing me.
Children
This site is not meant for children under 13, and I do not knowingly collect their information.
Changes
If I change this policy, I will update it on this page and change the date at the top.
